Sundried Tomato Biscuits



½ cup buttermilk

1 egg

2 tsp sundried tomato

2 cups AP flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 ½ tsp salt

170 g butter

1 cup shredded smoked gouda

1 egg yolk for brushing


        1. mix together buttermilk, egg and sundried tomato
        2. in separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt
        3. pinch in butter with your finger to form crumb
        4. add gouda to flour mix and pinch in
        5. add wet ingredients to dry and mix with wooden spoon till comes together
        6. put on counter and gently knead to form dough
        7. don’t over knead
        8. roll out to approximately 1 “ thick and cut bosing round cutter
        9. chill 20 minutes in fridge
        10. brush tops with egg yolk and sprinkle with salt
        11. bake @ 405 for 4-8 minutes
