Sundried Tomato Biscuits
INGREDIENTS
½ cup buttermilk
1 egg
2 tsp sundried tomato
2 cups AP flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 ½ tsp salt
170 g butter
1 cup shredded smoked gouda
1 egg yolk for brushing
INSTRUCTIONS

- mix together buttermilk, egg and sundried tomato
- in separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt
- pinch in butter with your finger to form crumb
- add gouda to flour mix and pinch in
- add wet ingredients to dry and mix with wooden spoon till comes together
- put on counter and gently knead to form dough
- don’t over knead
- roll out to approximately 1 “ thick and cut bosing round cutter
- chill 20 minutes in fridge
- brush tops with egg yolk and sprinkle with salt
- bake @ 405 for 4-8 minutes
