Submarine Sandwich with Deli Cut Peppers

INGREDIENTS

Makes 2 sandwiches

  • 2 - 9-inch submarine buns
  • Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 teaspoon Chuck Hughes White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Chuck Hughe Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Thinly sliced tomatoes
  • Thinly sliced red onion
  • Flaky sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ pound thinly sliced smoked chicken breast
  • ½ pound thinly sliced porketta
  • Sweet hamburger pickles
  • Sliced provolone cheese
  • Chuck Hughes Spicy Deli Peppers

STEPS

1. Cut both buns in half and spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on the top and bottom halves.

2. Toss the iceberg lettuce with white balsamic vinegar and olive oil, then divide it between the two sandwiches.

3. Layer tomato slices atop the lettuce, followed by red onion, and season with flaky salt and pepper.

4. Distribute the smoked chicken and porchetta between both sandwiches.

5. Top the meat with pickles, cheese, and finally, Chuck Hughes, Deli Cut Peppers.
